The Lilli cabins are a cluster of four old-fashioned Adirondack camp style cabins. With three sleeping
cabins and one commons cabin, they are well suited to mixed groups of up to nine guests. You can have
both privacy and camaraderie in the same vacation.
The four rustic cabins are situated along the shore of Long Pond and have exculsive use of the grassy
waterfront and dock next to the Dick's Maggot cabin. Generally available in June, early July and
September, the cabins offer an old-fashioned lakeshore experience. New in 2009 is the option to take
one or more of these cabins individually.
Lilliburlero is the commons cabin and has galley kitchen with stove, refrigerator, and equipment for up
to 9 people; living room with fireplace and day bed; and screened-in dining porch with lake view. (FYI
-- Lilliburlero is an English Country Dance, the cabin was named for our grandmother, Lilly Conant).
Contrary to what might be your initial impression, the Dick's Maggot cabin is named after a 17th century English Country Dance, not a
six-legged creature. Dick was also our grandfather. This cabin has a small sitting room with fireplace, day bed, microwave and small
refrigerator; a bedroom with queen bed and magnificent lake view; and a bathroom with claw-foot tub. The cabin is immediately
adjacent to the lake and waterfront.
Betty and Helen (named after our two aunts) has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 2 twin cots; a fireplace nook; a
screened-in sitting porch; and toilet room with cold-water sink. Residents of B&H have use of the outdoor shower (with hot water) next
to Ricky's House.
Ricky's House (our dad) has a bedroom with two twin cots; a toilet room with hot water; a screened-in sitting porch that overlooks the
lake; and an outdoor shower with privacy screen. All four cabins have access to the outdoor shower.
